Hau Giang Power Plant Joint Stock Company (HGPPJSC) is undertaking the construction of a rice husk power plant in Long My, Hau Giang, Vietnam.The project involves the construction of a 10MW power plant on 9ha of land. It will include a water treatment system, storage tanks, and the installation of generators, safety and security systems.CHE group has been appointed as EPC contractor, Torftech Energy was appointed to supply combustion technology and Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2) as a consultant.Eximbank Malaysia and Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam have provided funds for the project development.In April 2015, constructions works commenced.
