Global Marine Systems Limited (Global Marine Systems), a provider of engineering and underwater services, has acquired majority interest in CWind Limited (CWind), a provider of offshore renewable energy services.CWind operates an 18-strong fleet of vessels that carries out a variety of activities supporting wind farm owners and operators, transporting technicians in safety to complete essential work. This helps assure the cost-effective construction, and reliable on-going performance of its clients’ offshore wind farms.The purchase enables Global Marine Systems to penetrate further into the offshore renewable sector, and adds a diverse range of construction and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to its current capabilities.
