Oyster Point Development LLC (OPD), a joint venture between Greenland USA (Greenland), a subsidiary of Greenland Group, Agile Group (AG), Poly Sino Capital Ltd (PSC) and Ping An Trust (PAT) is planning to build a biotech industrial park in San Francisco, California, the US.The project involves the construction of a 209,032m2 biotech industrial park on 16ha of land and will be developed in phases.The first phase includes the construction of a 46,452m2 office complex.The second phase includes the construction of a 99,406m2 of office/R&D buildings, 2,601m2 of retail, amenity and/or flex-use space.The third and fourth phase includes the construction of a 2,043m2 residential facility comprising 1,191 units. The project includes the construction of a recreational space, classrooms, staff rooms, a research center, laboratories, and parking facilities.In January 2017, OPD filed a planning application with the City to modify a portion of the existing Oyster Point Specific Plan that was approved in 2011.On October 11, 2017, groundbreaking ceremony was held and marks the commence of infrastructure work, including demolition and construction of temporary roads on the first phase.Pe- construction works on the first phase. Planning activities on the second phase are underway and expected to get approvals in the fourth quarter of 2018.
