Q: What is GlobalData’s Report Store?

A: GlobalData's Report Store features thousands of high quality research reports across a broad range of industries. The reports draw on in-depth primary and secondary research, databases of proprietary in house data and high quality analysis from our expert teams. Data and analysis at the company, country and industry level includes competitors, valuations, trends, forecasts and analytics.

Q: How can I buy a report from GlobalData’s Report Store?

A: You can buy a report directly from our Report Store by choosing the report you wish to buy and clicking ‘Buy Now’. You will need to login or register with us to do this.

Q: How will the report be delivered?

A: Reports are emailed directly to the user as an electronic PDF document – no complex online login systems.

Q: How soon will I receive my report?

A: Reports will usually be sent out shortly after payment is received. Occasionally, a report will be undergoing an update to incorporate the most up-to-date data we have available and may take a little longer. Some of the reports on the Global Company Intelligence store form part of our ‘On Demand’ service and will take a little longer to complete. This is noted in the report descriptions on the Global Company Intelligence website.

Q: I’ve lost my username/password. What do I do?

On the Report Store login page, click ‘forgot password’ under the login box. Type in your email address and we will send you a password reminder.

Q: I’m having trouble logging in. What do I do?

Make sure that you have turned Caps Lock off and re-enter your password. If this does not help, request a password reminder by clicking on the ‘forgot password’ link under the login box. Remember, you may have a different set of account details for an eTrack subscription than to the Report Store.

Q: Can I share a report with my colleagues? What are the different licenses I can buy?

A: You can buy a report under three different licenses. With a single user license, the report is purchased for one user only – the report can be printed for one individual’s use. Purchasing a site license allows you to share the report with unlimited users within one corporate location, e.g. a regional office. A global license allows you to share a report globally with unlimited users within the purchasing corporation, e.g. all employees of a single company.

Q: How can I obtain sample pages of a report?

A: You can do this online by going to our Report Store, clicking on the report you want to view sample pages for, clicking on the Request Sample Pages tab and filling out the form. You can also call us on +44 (0) 161 359 5813.

Q: Can I get a free research alert?

A: Yes, you can subscribe for free research alerts, which inform you of our latest publications. Simply fill in the Free Research Alert form on our website. Find it here.

Q: Is there an archive of reports available?

A: All archived reports are available on our Report Store. We provide a ‘search by date’ option to make this easier for you.

Q: Can I print a report?

A: Yes, you can print a copy of the report, as the reports are delivered as an electronic PDF. Whether these printouts can be shared with colleagues depends on which license you purchase.

Q: How will I receive a report?

A: Upon payment you will receive an electronic PDF file via email.

Q: Can I get a discount if I purchase more than one report?

A: We can sometimes offer a discount if you wish to purchase more than one report. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis, depending on how many reports and which reports you are interested in. Call our Report Store sales team on +44 (0) 161 359 5813 to find out more.

Q: Can I purchase a section of the report for a cheaper price?

Q: Can I request a specific company profile?

A: Yes. Please fill out a request form here.

Q: Can I pay for this report in another currency?

A: If you pay online by credit card, the conversion will usually be automatic. However, if you wish to be billed in either Euros or British Pounds we can send an invoice out to you on request; email reportstore@globaldata.com, giving the title of the report and the type of license you wish to purchase.

Q: Once I purchase a report, will I receive free updates?

A: Many of our reports are updated on an annual basis, some even on a quarterly basis. There is no free update included with your purchase, however if you contact our Report Store sales team on +44 (0) 161 359 5813 we may be able to arrange a discount.
